This living hedge maze, consisting of over 800 conifers, features fountains, twists and turns to trick even the most committed explorer. And when you do find your way out, there’s plenty more to enjoy, with a range of giant sized games featuring local Mintaro slate.
The Riesling Trail is approximately 30km trail on the route of the former railway line going from just north of Clare to Auburn. The trail reaches its highest peak near Penwortham, with a gentle slope towards Clare and Auburn. The trail is a favourite amongst bike riders, runners and walkers. There are plenty of wineries that can be visited along the trail or not far off it.
Bike Hire is availabe just off the trail in Clare or Auburn.
Spring Gully Conservation Park is located between Clare and Sevenhill on the western side of the hills surrounding Clare Valley. There are a few walking trails, and in wet season you can visit the waterfalls or take a longer 6km loop hike. It is not far from Eldredge Wines, so you can always visit the two on the same trip.

The Clare Golf Club is an 18 hole par 72 course with an Australian Mens Course Rating of 72. The course is 5,899 metres and is set in the heart of the Clare Valley and is one of South Australia’s finest country courses.
Set amongst vineyards, woodlands, lakes and creeks, this course provides numerous natural challenges and provides stunning scenery and the chance to see one of the many kangaroos living on the course.
Mini Golf is located in Auburn on the Auburn-Saddleworth road at the Simpson Rices Creek cellar door. It is more than just a cellar door with mini golf - light refreshments, coffee, olive products, and native plant nursery are all there for you to enjoy.
